Manta exclusively represents quite a few reputable brands of heavy construction equipment. Their

names are renowned worldwide.

Potain S.A. who is a French public company designs

and manufactures various types of tower crane for building

construction industry. Manta carries the full range of their

products to Hong Kong, Macau, and China. By rough

estimate, Potain cranes have approximately 40% of market

share throughout the world. In the course of the past 25

years, Manta has succeeded in procuring more than 80% market share in Hong Kong and Macau.

More than 90% of the construction companies and major building contractors doing business in

Hong Kong are customers of Manta.

Komatsu Mining, formerly named Demag Baumaschinen, a

German earthmoving equipment manufacturer, specialized in

hydraulic excavators, is another important supplier of Manta.

More notable achievements of Manta in the recent past would

have been four (4) numbers of gigantic hydraulic excavators

purchased by PAA for use in the site formation for

the new Hong Kong Airport. Besides, Manta also supplied a good few of medium size excavators to

the famous projects like the Changjiang Gezhouba and the Three Gorges in China. Other brands of

premium quality which Manta deals in exclusively include Bomag, a German made vibratory road

roller, and Terex, a UK made off-highway dump truck. Again these two manufacturers are also well

known in the construction world.

Manta also successfully obtained the distributorship of Manitou, a French made multi-purpose

material handling equipment, and Parker Plant, a UK made asphalt mixing plants and stone

crushing plants, in 1996 and 1999 respectively.

Apart from the above Manta also has business involves

extensively in renting, reconditioning and servicing of

used equipments. It has its own spare parts depot and

vast service center together with groups of experienced and well-trained service crew to support

manufacturer's warranted maintenance as well as machines emergency service or other services

needs that may be required by the customers.
